I got to go the the Scrapbook Expo where I live today. It is the first year so it is not big at all but there was so much stuff, and we got to do Make and Takes. It was so fun!!! There were some amazing deals also that I could not pass up. I am going to try and go to another one in November, but I hear that it is 3 times bigger. Im Excited!!! These are some of my goodies that I got while I was there...

Cricut Cardz Challenge #43

For this challenge we were making a baby card using colors Green, Orange, Yellow and White ONLY. This was not to hard to make and can be for a boy or a girl. I really like how it came out!!

I used Create A Critter for this card and the Giraffe is cut at 5 1/4". The top paper is a swirly patterned paper.

Fantabolous Cricut Challenge #28

The Challenge Me Monday over at Fantabolous Cricut The Challenge was called: In My Garden Harvest Time. We were to create a project having to do with Gardening (plants, gardening tools, vegetables, etc...).

I just got my cartridge A Child's Year not that long ago and have been making some really cool things with it, I was very excited when I saw there were 6 different cuts having to do with gardening. I also found these paper matching and I thought it was perfect. The sentiment/title is from the Solutions Cartridge Stamping.

Paper Cutz Challenge #59

For challenge # 59, make a card, LO or craft project for Halloween using any colors you'd like, EXCEPT, NO black or orange.

This was the Challenge over at Paper Cutz this week. I had a hard time choosing my colors for this one. I had a paper in mind but it was both Orange and Black, so I had to choose something else. I decided to do Green and Purple. It came out well I think. It almost looks like it's missing something but I cant figure out what.

The Cut is from A Child's Year, and the Stamp is from the dollar bins at Michaels. I find I use this stamp a lot.

My Pink Stamper - 5 Million Celebration Challenge

Yay!!!! Last night My Pink Stamper hit 5 million hits on her webpage. So, today is a fun day and she is doing Challenges, Giveaways and Videos. For her first Challenge of the day it was to make a project using a bird. It could be from any cartridge and if you didn't have one to be creative.

This is my card. I used Joys Of the Season and used the Love Birds. I am so pleased with the way this came out. In a few days is my cousin is getting Married and I have decided to give her this card for the Wedding. This was the perfect time to make it.

The Birds are cut at 2 1/2 and the stamps are from Hero Arts. The birds are not attached; there is a black brad at the top allowing the birds to swing back and forth.

Jitterbuggin Challenge #18

Jitterbuggins Challenge this week was to follow the Sketch and to Focus on Apples and adding in the colors Green/Red/Yellow and add Black somewhere in there. There must be a cut from Cricut.

This is my take on the Sketch using all the colors specified. I used A Child's Year Cartridge (It's brand new) for this Card and I am really happy with the way it turned out. I made the title from SCAL.

Hello Raccoon...

This is the other "Just Because" card I made while I was making the one for the Made By Momo Challenge. It is made with everyones favorite cartridge, Create A Critter. I have been on a card making spree and am in the middle of making another one for a Challenge. I will post it when it is done.

Made by Momo Challenge #13

The Challenge over at Made By Momo was to make a "just because" card. It could be anything to make someone smile. Just because, Hello, or Thinking of You, etc... This was a fun Challenge. I just started making Just because cards, to send out more often. This gave me the time and Challenge to make a few.  This one I am submitting for the Challenge... It is an A2 sized card and the Cow is cut at 3".

This is the inside of the card. I used a pink patterned paper then matted a Cream color onto it and inked the edged with light Pink Ink.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #42

The Challenge this week is to make a halloween card from the card feature on any Halloween Cart. I chose to use Mini Monsters (it's the only one I have). This monster is my favorite on this Cart. I Love It!!!

Paper Cutz Challenge #58

The challenge this week over at Paper Cutz was to make a card, LO or any craft project using tags. You could use as many as you like and any colors you like. Here is my card for this Challenge...

The Tree is made from Simply Charmed and the Tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. It says Thinking Of You on the front. I cut the strip in the middle with some edged scissors.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #41

This week over at Cricut Cardz the challenge was to make something for fall but you wern't allowed to use the colors brown, orange or yellow.

This was hard for me... I used other fall colors but it definitely seemed like something was missing from my fall card. I used Red, Purple, and Blue mostly.

For the card both of my cuts were from my new cartridge Simply Charmed. I am please with the card considering it was hard for me to do.

Jitterbuggin Challenge Sketch 17

This weeks sketch over at Jitterbuggin was Going Old School. We were to follow the sketch, Use your Cricut and Use primary colors of Blue, Red and Yellow. This is the Sketch to follow...

And This is my interpretation of the sketch...

I used my brand new cartridge Simply Charmed for this one and I am loving how it came out. I also use Blue Skittles at the bottom of the card.

My Pink Stamper September 11th Challenge

On My Pink Stamper yesterday she was doing a challenge to make a card or something to say thank you for all the people put there that help. Weather it be Medics, Police, Firefighters, etc...

I made this card for Medics. I am an EMT and it is an awesome feeling to help people but when people recognize and thank you for what you do everyday is an AMAZING feeling!!!

I am also entering this card in the Fantabolous Cricut  for Challenge Me Monday. It was to do a project having to do with work for Labor Day.

Cards Goal

I went to work this morning to be told that I was not on the schedule and I do not work. Go figure!! I asked for today and tomorrow off and it was denied and then I'm told that I do not work tomorrow either. That Sucks!!!!

Anyway... I have decided that I am going to make lite of the day and my goal today is to start my Christmas project that I am just putting together (2 of them), and to make 5 Halloween/Fall cards. I have not really made any yet, maybe 1. So today is the day. I will post another post when they are finished at the end of the day.

I made this card for fun! There was nothing real special, I just got the stamps from Craft Warehouse and I really wanted to use them. I am going to be making a card with a Popsicle on it. I'm not sure past that. This Cupcake is from Create A Critter; it is one of the accessories.

Christmas Reindeer

I made this card with Create A Critter. I love that cartridge. I absolutely love this reindeer! I am trying to get ahead on my Christmas Cards. I really like how this card turned out and how it is contrasted.

Down Computer

I have been working on a few things that I need to take pictures of and post, but my laptop charger completely died and that is the computer I have everything on. I am making a few pages right now and just finished some of my engagement party. So I will post those pics later tonight.
